Here's a drawing I did on the screen without any paper. Its actually quite difficult to use the pen, and not look down at what you are drawing, but instead look at the screen. There is no longer that satisfying feeling of pen and ink pressing onto the paper either. As I use the Wacom tablet, it feels very hard and plastic and unforgiving. I'm very tempted to go back to this original method - so much more tactile. The trouble is, everyone wants everything delivered to their desktop in Photoshop, and almost instantly. Maybe its time to rejoin those silkscreen classes and sell prints instead!
