Graphic novel

This is a page from my recently published book, Pirate Treasure. (Oxford University Press). The author is the very clever colleague and friend Mark Foster. The book is for learners of English who have a limited amount of vocabulary. The format of the graphic novel is ideal for this, as the little frames help them work out what is going on in the book. The little drawings also help with their motivation! The difficult part when writing/devising the story, was to illustrate it in such a way as not to offend different people from different cultures! (Not too many naked people or dogs . . . or little piggies).
The books tend to be sold in many countries from Europe to the Middle East, Asia  and all over South America.
Here the artwork is entirely digital, and polished up in Photoshop.
